Internal Business Development Manager

About the Job

We’re on the hunt for a charismatic and diligent Internal Business Development Manager to join either our Stoke on Trent or Lowestoft team and start immediately.

We are Aura Graphics – founded in 1927, we are one of Europe’s leading commercial graphics and visual communication providers. We offer branding and image management solutions for our clients in transportation, fleet, retail and architectural markets, through the delivery of high impact print and graphics solutions.

Working alongside our Business Development Manager and Sales & Marketing team, you’ll be tasked with calling current clients, bringing in new business from prospects, booking in meetings through direct phone marketing, and nurturing customer relationships. 


  • Contact potential and existing customers to inform them about a product or service
  • Answer questions about the products or company
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and to book potential meetings
  • Enter and update customer information in the CRM system
  • Keep records of calls and meetings and report regularly on development requirements

This is not your run-of-the-mill call centre role and you won’t be snowed under with endless cold calls to irritated customers! This exciting role would give you the opportunity to work with some of the UK’s biggest brands, such as Sky, Virgin, M&S, Waitrose, DPD, and will predominately be to generate growth in our friendly team and develop a customer base.

The ideal candidate:

  • An impeccable telephone manner
  • Computer literate, with superb communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in telesales would be preferable
  • Highly attentive to detail, motivated, and driven to achieve results
  • Ability to work off own initiative and get on well with others
  • Cool-tempered and tenacious in the face of obstacles
  • Able to build and enhance working relationships
  • Comfortable presenting products or services over the phone
